Closing Announcement: 36 N. Market Street | Charleston, SC
We are sad to announce that after Wednesday, Nov. 23, we will be closing our Market Street location in downtown Charleston indefinitely. Unfortunately, our lease expired and the Market Street area is going through redevelopment, one part of that being the construction of a future hotel in our building.
Having opened in 1992, this location was the second Wild Wing Cafe to open after our original Hilton Head Island location in 1990. For more than 24 years, it has remained one of our most recognizable among our family of restaurants. We will certainly miss the friendly faces we’ve come to know and love on Market Street, and will always cherish the good times had by all.
Although we are unable to continue operations on Market Street, we are 100% dedicated to remaining in downtown Charleston and have been exploring options to ultimately open a new location for many more Hot Wings, Cold Beer and Good Times to be enjoyed in the future. In the meantime, we are working with our employees, who we consider family, to relocate their positions to our other locations.
Thank you, Charleston, for your patronage these last 24 years. We have three other Wild Wing Cafe locations in the Charleston area and we look forward to seeing, and serving, you soon in Mt. Pleasant on Coleman Boulevard, in Mt. Pleasant in the Market at Oakland and in North Charleston on Rivers Avenue.
